At the Chaolysti Summer Party, we asked What Do We Have in Common?

In keeping with a tradition started last year, we opened up our beautiful Alameda waterfront office to colleagues, clients, and guests mid-June to celebrate summer.

On the picture window outside the office, Pam put together an activity to help guests break the ice in a new and different way.

Pam looked at the guest list of who had signed up to attend and picked a dozen categories she knew a number of her guests had in common. Guests then took a stick note and wrote their first name down and placed it under the category they associated with.

The Result?

As attendees worked through the categories, they noted other people who had commonalities to them that they did not know before, prompting some deeper conversation and connection beyond the standard "name, title, and company" conversations.

Chaolysti can help you shape icebreakers and team building activities that get conversations beyond elevator pitches down to values that really matter. Are you ready to help your colleagues or event participants connect on a deeper level?

Many guests of the Chaolysti Summer Party placed their names on the categories where their interests overlapped.
