This is a complicated issue because every state has different program and within each state the programs are often different for each sector (municipal, residential, for-profit business, non-profit business, etc). I looked over the dsireusa.org website for the Hawaii incentives but did not see anything specifically targeting non-profits. Unfortunately, it tends to be difficult for non-profits to finance solar installations because tax incentives, which make it feasible for corporations to realize a return, are not available for non-profits.

I would definitely check it with a local installer, since they tend to be better plugged in to the incentives for the immediate area.

I have a work related questions. My aunt works for a health clinic in hawaii and they are interested in installing solar. Do you know of any good grants available for non profits, it looks like the ones we were going for expired and are likely to not be renewed.
